Newcomer Career and Support Services at Catholic Family Services is hosting a workshop on Employment Scams. Employment scams take advantage of people looking for work, by offering fake jobs, which often result in the person losing money or performing work that they do not get paid for.

At this workshop you will learn about: 

• How to identify job scams 
• How to avoid job scams 
• How to report job scams  
• Basic labour laws
