Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan Update - Phase 4

Now that we are near the end of Phase 4 of the Re-Open Saskatchewan Plan, a number of restrictions have been lifted. 

The following updates are included in Part 2 of Phase 4 of the Re-Opening Plan:

As of July 6th

• Indoor pools, indoor rinks, indoor sports and activities, and the performing arts (including music, dance and theatre) have re-opened.
• The seating capacity for restaurants and licensed establishments has also increased.  
• Video lottery terminals (VLTs), pool tables, dart boards, arcade games and other recreation areas re-open, though physical distancing must be maintained and increased cleaning and disinfection will also be required. 

On July 9th

• Casinos and bingo halls are able to re-open. 

On July 16th

• Live entertainment is expected to return. 
• The allowable size of indoor gatherings will increase to 30 people.
  
  

Part 1 of Phase 4 already included the following changes:

June 22nd

• Child and youth day camps can begin.
• Outdoor pools and spray parks have opened.
• Seasonal/recreational outdoor sports and activities are allowed.
  

June 29th

• Libraries, museums, galleries and movie theatres have re-opened. 

Starting August 4th

• The Office of Residential Tenancies and the province will lift the ban on evictions for non-payment of rent. Landlords will be able to evict tenants for not paying their rent. Read the article in CTV news explaining this here.
